Due to the negative reaction of the citizens of the town of Pleven regarding the reading of ezan, Regional Mufti Mr. Hadji Nidzhatin Mustafov was invited by local media to explain the necessity of reading the ezan from the speakers.

The first semester of school year 2011/2012 successfully finished for the “religion-Islam” subject. The subject was taught in 28 settlements on the territory of totally 7 Regional Mufti Offices.

On February 20th, 2012 after ikindi namaz, the son of Ashim Asan, Faik Asan, with few more people went to Dzhumaya Mosque to fight the imam of the mosque Kemal Rashid starting to curse him and threaten him with death. After a notification to the police, Faik Asan and his men escaped. The imam Kemal Rashid has filed a complaint in IV Regional Police Station – Plovdiv.

Central Mosque "Azizie” in the city of Varna was visited on February 20th, Monday, by tourists - students from Russia.

In connection to the extremely low temperatures Varna Municipality took care of homeless providing them with shelter, warmth and food.
